I learned a dance and song at a women's dance a few years ago and I am looking for the title and lyrics of that song. The only part I remember is part of the chorus:
"I am ..... .... .... to the sweet surrender of the .... .... in my soul"
If anyone could help me it would be a lovely miracle.
Thanks,
Lauri

Re: Looking for lyrics
Sat, March 17, 2007 - 11:33 PMI asked on another board I am part of and this is the response I got:
"The way I remember it is:
I am opening up in sweet surrender to the luminous love-light of the
One.(repeat)
I am opening (4x), with a counterpoint melody of "Ya Fattah" following
each "I am opening",and alternating men and women. "
If it helps a few people said that the person that was doing the song was Bernie Heideman. One person was going to contact him. I'll let you know if I hear more.

Re: Looking for lyrics
Sun, March 18, 2007 - 6:36 AMnever heard this as a dance of universal peace, but have sung it many times with the rainbow family...
we are rising up,
like a phoenix from the fire
brothers and sisters spread your wings and fly higher x2
we are riiiiiiiiising up,
we are riiiiiiiiising up x2
we are opening up
in sweet surrendur
to the luminous love light of the one x2
we are ooooooopening
we are ooooooopening x2
n there are more verses that I don't remember right now...
