at First Jefferson Unitarian Universalist Church 1959 Sandy Ln 76112*
From the beginning of time, sacred movement, song and story have brought people together- at times of seasonal ceremony and celebration, as part of everyday life and life passages, in daily renewal and meditation, ect...The Dances of Universal Peace are Part of this timeless tradition of Sacred Dance.
As in these timeless mystical traditions, the Dances use simple
movement, lyrics, sacred phrases and movements to touch the spiritual essence within ourselves and others. No musical or dance experience of any kind is required and everyone is welcome to join in. Participation, not presentation, is the focus. Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing is best. Come join in and learn to dance with your heart!
DIRECTIONS
Angel of Hope (former Unity Church of Fort Worth) 901 Page Ave: Take the Morningside exit off I-35 S, go west on Morningside, you will go under a small bridge, halfway around circle continue on Morningside, which will end at Hemphill, turn right onto Hemphill, left on Page Ave (right after railroad tracks) OR: take 8th Ave to Elizabeth Ave; Elizabeth turns into Page Ave.
First Jefferson Unitarian Universalist 1959 Sandy Ln: Take the
Meadowbrook exit off of S Loop 820 (just south of I-30; from I-30 take the S Loop 820 exit). Go east on Meadowbrook to the blinking red light, turn left, church will be on the right.
Life may not be the party I had hoped for.....But while I'm here I
might just as well listen to the music and dance....
